Sticks 'n' Sushi Battersea
Set along the Thames, London’s legendary Battersea Power Station has come back to life as a vibrant hub of shops, restaurants, and culture. Sticks’n’Sushi, the Danish Japanese fusion chain known for its vibrant dining experiences, has opened yet another London location near the iconic power station. And true to form, this one is no ordinary sushi spot.
Designed by OEO Studio, the Battersea location brings together bold colours, tactile textures, and a deep commitment to materials that tell a story. Anne-Marie Buemann, Managing Partner, at OEO Studios, has worked on two of Sticks’n’Sushi’s locations.
“Sticks’n’Sushi has a strong visual identity and communications platform that extends across its brand universe and all of its restaurants. The brand universe reflects the meeting of Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics, with a focus on high-quality materials, bespoke solutions, and evocative details. We always take the location and cultural context into consideration, like for Battersea where we wanted to create a distinct dining destination with a vibrant and energetic ambience that connects to the surrounding area,” says Anne-Marie.
