Re-handle - Extending the lifespan. Not the waste stream.
We have designed our products to last for generations. With Re-handle, we take the next step: instead of replacing, we restore. Re-handle is our circular service through which we receive used products, carefully disassemble them, replace worn components, refinish surfaces and return them – functionally and aesthetically as good as new. Each time a product is Re-handled, the 20-year warranty is renewed. The process can be repeated up to four times, enabling a potential lifespan of up to 100 years.
Re-handle is developed for professional construction projects where total cost of ownership, documentation and long-term value creation are key parameters. By preserving existing materials, we reduce the need for new production, minimise resource waste and lower the overall carbon footprint of a project.
More than 250 products within our range are already defined as eligible for Re-handle. The solution can be integrated into both renovation and new-build projects as an active component of a circular strategy and a more responsible lifecycle approach.
Re-handle is not an add-on to our products. It is an extension of our design philosophy: to create architectural quality that lasts – and continues to last.
Nearly 63% of our total CO₂ footprint originates from material production. We work with stainless steel because of its durability and timeless expression; however, it is resource-intensive to produce. Re-handle is our response.
